The 4th Edition of Food&HotelVietnam
Closes On a High Note
Held from 30 October - 1 November 2007 at the Ho Chi Minh
International Exhibition & Convention Centre (HIECC),
the 4th edition of Food&HotelVietnam showcased the latest
products and supplies for Vietnam’s flourishing food
and hospitality industry.
The highly anticipated 3-day event welcomed a total of 8,374
trade professionals from all over Vietnam and around the world,
an increase of 15.7% from the previous edition
of the event!
Food&HotelVietnam2007 featured 240 exhibiting companies
from 22 countries/regions, thus creating an abundance of opportunities
for both buyers and sellers to network and forge important
business relationships.
The organisers would like to thank all exhibiting companies,
visitors, seminar attendees, press members and supporting
organisations for making Food&HotelVietnam2007 a success!

| The 2nd edition of the Vietnam Culinary Challenge
saw the participation of 69 talented chefs from leading F&B
establishments in Vietnam, including the Grand Hotel, Majestic
Hotel, Vietnam Air Caterers, Sofitel Hotel and ABC Bakery. Visitors
were treated to a visual feast of delights as they witnessed
the chefs showing off their culinary skills in 9 categories
of the competition including 'Live Hot Cooking’, ‘Vietnamese
Cuisine Display’, ‘Fruit and Vegetable Carving’,
'Live Cake Decorating’ and many more! |

and Songbe Golf Co. Competition sponsors included the USA Poultry

| In line with recent news about food safety standards, Food&HotelVietnam2007
introduced the Food Safety Seminar that is specially tailored
for the food and hospitality professionals in Vietnam. Held
on the second day of the exhibition, the seminar had overwhelming
response from the visitors with both sessions having full-house
attendance. Relevant and important topics such as HACCP and
ISO 22000 were discussed. |
