We are happy to see many professional chefs who are our target buyers visiting the show. Vietnam Barista Competition 2009
Organised by Singapore Exhibition Services and Kerry Ingredients, the inaugural Vietnam Barista Competition showcased the expertise, creativity and talents of 22 baristas in Vietnam. Competitors went through 3 days of competition under the watchful eyes of international judges. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet from Vergnano Coffee emerged as the Champion and will represent Vietnam in the 2nd edition Asia Barista Championship during Food&HotelAsia 2010 (FHA) taking place from 20 – 23 April 2010. |

Vietnam Culinary Challenge 2009 |
Vietnam Culinary Challenge, organised by Saigon Professional Chefs Guild, returned for its 3rd edition during Food&HotelVietnam2009. This year’s Challenge had the presence of internationally acclaimed chefs as judges. Featuring over 93 competitors from 36 companies/organisations across Vietnam, the competitors showcased their skills through 9 competition categories: Vietnamese Cuisine, Vietnamese Cuisine Display, Live Hot Cooking – Lamb Dish, Live Hot Cooking – USAPEEC Chicken, Live Hot Cooking – Fish and / or Seafood, Live Hot Cooking – Pasta Cooking, Cold Display – Individual Plated Appetizers, ANCHOR Dress the Cake, ANCHOR Plated Desserts and Fruit and Vegetable Carving. |

Delegates who attended the Alsace Wine Seminar learnt about the origins and classifications of wines from the Alsace region in France, and how the wines can be paired with different cuisine. |
